Beautiful silver plated tantalus in overall brilliant condition. The plate is is very good condition with only a small amount of rubbing to the shield. The outside of the silver tantalus is otherwise perfect.
The decanters match and have their original stoppers-no faults. Deep cut but very simple design, no faults to the decanters. They are very heavy and of excellent quality.
On the inside of the tantalus on the base where the bottles rest there is a small amount of black pitting to the silver plate- but this is unseen. This can be polished out using Jewellers wax but I have left as is.
Approximate date is 1900 - 1910
No decipherable makers mark.
Stunning classy antique that is ready to take out of the box and display or use and its now rare to find one complete and original in this condition.
