Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher and Prince of Wahstatt initially served in the Swedish army, later he was a Field Marshal and instrumental in the defeat of Napoleon during the Battle of Waterloo. The plaque is a stunning little piece of art with fantastic detailing, and these plaques were made in Germany after the style of Leonard Posch, These commemorative Plaques were made in several factories during and after the Napoleonic wars. This one we believe is dated to C1840-1870
