ANTIQUE HELENA WOLFSOHN PORCELAIN CANDLESTICKS AR DRESDEN C1875

A stunning pair of Helena Wolfsohn candlesticks. Very pretty rococo blue and white porcelain candlesticks c1875-1881. Putti both have wings and are very well modeled. The detail is fantastic. They stand 27cm tall. Wolfsohn added the Augustus Rex in blue underglaze to the Meissen blanks. The quality of the painting is superb. They stand 27cm tall. The base is 11.5cm. 

Condition: Putti with hat-excellent condition, missing one tiny finger (pinkie finger), small petal missing, no other chips, no restoration, no cracks, no crazing. Putti without hat - excellent condition, small chip to the end of one leaf at the back. No restoration, no other cracks, no crazing. The Putti with hat carries the underglaze blue AR monogram on base. The second candlestick is unmarked. For age and type they are in very good condition and value will not be affected.
