Stunning Late Victorian Chair with original red cut velvet overstuffed seat. The rail and shield back have delicate inlays depicting a classical renaissance scene with vase with flowers and a cupid holding a fish. The symbol of the cupid holding a fish is about love over land and sea and makes this the perfect little bedroom chair.

Original cut velvet seat-overstuffed and firm. The velvet is in very good condition for age, but shows signs of being antique. The frame has solid joints and the inlays are in good condition. The chair is ready to use and display in your home.
